J. H. (Bill) Walton is currently a consultant in training and education. Bill helped found ITC Learning Corporation (NASDAQ: ITCC) in 1977 and served as CEO from December, 1982 until January, 1998 helping build ITC into the premiere provider of media training for the process and manufacturing industries. As a media producer, he pioneered instructional design as the most important learning factor in effective courseware. Bill is a Director with Visual Learning Solutions and, for the past decade, has been on the Board of Directors for the Society of Applied Learning Technology (SALT). He has written many articles and spoken throughout the country emphasizing how critically important media-based interactive multimedia is to learning in the modern world.
